Amita Kini-Singh

Dr Amita Kini-Singh is a cross-cultural theorist specialising in the artistic connections between India and Japan. She has developed and taught courses in art history and academic writing at leading institutions like the Bombay Institute for Critical Analysis and Research (BICAR) and Jnanapravaha Mumbai. An ex-banker she takes an inter-disciplinary view in her research, which includes looking at historical trade connections, socio-political developments and ancient religious crossovers.
