Madhurima Mukhopadhyay, Assistant Professor, Amity Institute of English Studies and Research, Amity University Kolkata, has worked as a post-doctoral research fellow and as a Research Associate at the Institute of Development Studies Kolkata. She obtained her PhD from the Faculty of Arts, Jadavpur University, Kolkata. Her publications include women’s travel writing, marriage and intermediation in global India, translations of articles, book reviews, reports in various journals, edited volumes and newsletters and editorials.
